Co-Owner & Stylist

Hi, I’m Rose, co-owner and stylist here at The Color Platform. I’ve been creating beautiful hair since 2009, after completing my training at Brio Academy. I specialize in all aspects of blonding, vivid colors, and both traditional and lived-in color, with a skilled hand in cutting medium to long lengths. My artistry lies in transforming hair while keeping it healthy and tailored to each client’s lifestyle.

What I love most about my craft is the blend of creativity and connection. When you sit in my chair, you can expect transparency—whether it’s about the process, pricing, or maintenance—as well as thoughtful alternatives that fit your unique needs. I’m passionate about offering a safe, welcoming space where you can express yourself and truly relax.

Creative and detail-oriented, I find inspiration not only in hair but in all forms of art and history. Outside the salon, I’m a wife and proud mom of three in a lively home full of pets. I’m also a true Disney enthusiast who loves trips to Disney World and can’t wait to explore even more of the world with my family.

Courtney Johnson

Co-Owner & Stylist

Hi, I’m Courtney! I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2007, after graduating from the New England School of Hairdressing—and I’ve loved every minute of it. Behind the chair, my passion is color, from traditional color techniques to bold, vivid transformations. I’m also skilled in all types of haircuts, but I have a special love for short hair and the confidence it brings when the cut is just right.

My motto is simple: “Your vision is my passion.” Being a hairstylist is more than just a job for me; it’s an art form and a way to connect with people. Each appointment is an opportunity to listen, understand your desires, and celebrate your individuality. By tailoring my skills to meet your specific needs, I strive to create looks that reflect your personality and make you feel confident in your own skin. My chair is always a welcoming, safe space where you can truly be yourself.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me with my husband and our two incredible little boys, out in the garden, lost in a good book, or soaking up the outdoors. Family and simple joys fuel my creativity, and I bring that same grounded energy into every appointment.

Jessica Ingenito

Assistant Stylist

Hi, I’m Jessica! I’ve been in the hair industry since 2022, starting my journey at The Institute of Cosmetology in Plainville. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to growing as an assistant stylist at The Color Platform and continuing to learn every day.

I specialize in all types of blonding, whether lived in or traditional, and love creating soft, dimensional looks. I’ve also been exploring vivid colors and am excited to expand my expertise in this area. My favorite canvas is medium to long hair, especially when it comes to layering and creating movement.

What I love most about being a stylist is the transformation, not just of the hair, but of the person in my chair. There’s nothing better than seeing someone light up with confidence after their service. Getting your hair done is more than just maintenance, it’s a luxury and a moment of self-care, and I’m grateful to provide that experience for my clients.

When you sit in my chair, you can expect a safe, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere where your goals are always the priority. I believe in creating a personalized plan that not only achieves the look you want but also keeps your hair healthy and beautiful along the way.

Outside of the salon, I enjoy long walks and hikes with my dog, Tucker, keeping up with the latest movies and TV shows, and scrolling through TikTok or Instagram for inspiration (and a little fun).

Kacie Devoe

Assistant Stylist

Hi, I’m Kacie, I’ve been behind the chair since 2022, specializing in blonding, balayage, grey coverage and long haircuts. I also love adding a touch of sparkle with tinsel “fairy hair,” which has quickly become one of my signature services. Over the years, I’ve attended hair shows and classes to continue perfecting my skills and learning new techniques, ensuring I can always bring fresh ideas and modern trends to my clients.

I truly love being a stylist because it allows me to combine creativity with genuine connection. I get to make people feel confident and beautiful while building lasting relationships. When you sit in my chair, you can expect a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere paired with an eye for detail and a dedication to creating a look that feels authentically you. I’m a mix of fun, creative, and detail oriented, and I take pride in designing styles that highlight both your personality and lifestyle.

Outside the salon, I enjoy reading, exploring new crafts and hobbies, and spending time with my friends and family.
